Pre-Sale on Now! Transform your yard into pollinator habitat and benefit regional conservation efforts. Please scroll down to the very bottom of the page for details of our 3rd annual Adirondack Pollinator Project Plant Sale.
NOTE: DUE TO THE COVID-19 OUTBREAK, WE MAY STILL BE PRACTICING SOCIAL DISTANCING IN JUNE DURING PLANT PICK-UP WEEK. IF SO, WE WILL PROVIDE HOME DELIVERY TO ALL ADDRESSES IN THE ADIRONDACK PARK.
***Please note: all plants available through this sale are grown naturally and are not treated with pesticides. As a result, they may have some insect damage, which is expected since these plants are safe for pollinators***
AdkAction's Adirondack Pollinator Project is delighted to offer a local Pollinator Plant sale again in 2020. One of the most important things you can do to help hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees in the Adirondacks is to plant a pollinator garden.
With the help of Cook & Gardener Nursery, we have carefully chosen pollinator plants that thrive in the Adirondacks. All of the plants offered have been carefully sourced or grown from seed to ensure that they have never come in contact with neonicotinoids (a class of insecticides that are harmful to pollinators). Whether you plant a few or many, they will help rebuild the monarch butterfly population, attract hummingbirds and strengthen native bee and moth populations. Special thanks to Fledging Crow Vegetables for use of their greenhouse to grow the plants this year.
Plant Sale Dates: We will be accepting orders until June 15th, 2020, or until we sell out.
Plant Pick-Up Dates: You will be able to pick up your plants at the following locations and times:
1. The Wild Center in Tupper Lake on Wednesday, June 17th from 4 - 6 pm.
2. Paul Smiths College VIC on Thursday, June 18th from 3 - 6 pm.
