Claim Edwid as business expense?

Hello I'm wondering if I can claim Ecwid as a business expense. This is one of the best ecommerce platforms for my store but the price is slightly high, and being able to claim back the VAT on it would be a massive help to budgeting. I've had a look at this tax tool to help but can't find much else on what I can and can't claim. Has anyone else here done the same for Ecwid?

Hi there,

I believe it would be better to consult with an expert in UK tax field whether you can deduct your e-commerce subscription fees as a business expense.

Just in case, if you are B2B and have a VAT number, when subscribing to a paid Ecwid plan you can specify your VAT ID like described here https://support.ecwid.com/hc/en-us/a...-I-have-vat-id

And you can always view and print out invoices for your Ecwid subscription in Ecwid control panel > My Profile > Payment History section. Please refer to this article for details: https://support.ecwid.com/hc/en-us/a...s#controlpanel
