I am happy to let you know that you can connect your Ecwid store with Zapier service. Zapier is a place where you can connect two services in Zap: if something happens in one app, then something else happens in another or the same app.

For example, you can connect Mailchimp with Gmail, or Ecwid with your favorite accounting system available in Zapier!

I have been in communication with Zapier support over an issue regarding the Zap "Save Ecwid orders to Google Sheets"

Zapier confirmed my tests that Ecwid is not sending the vitally important 'affiliate_id' in your API. We really need this feature so we would really appreciate this (seemingly easy) fix on Ecwid's part.

Here is Zapier's response:
I'm afraid that it doesn't look like Ecwid is sending us the affiliate ID on these new orders. Looking at their API it doesn't appear to be something they can return to us: http://developers.ecwid.com/api-docu...n#order-object

That means we wouldn't be able to help you capture that information. I'm really sorry about that.

Zapier application is created using Ecwid API: http://developers.ecwid.com/api-documentation
In a response from Zapier, there is a link to Ecwid API documentation, which leads to the Storefront Javascript API, which is not used in connection with Zapier.

As I can see, you are referencing a New Order trigger for Ecwid app on Zapier, where you need an Affiliate ID of an order to be passed to Google Sheets.

For this trigger, Ecwid uses this Orders endpoint, which provides all details about orders in Ecwid stores and affiliate ID field is included there: http://take.ms/ajYxK

When you create a new zap on Zapier for the New Order trigger from Ecwid, you can use Affiliate ID field as well, by searching for it when you click on 'Insert Ecwid fields' http://take.ms/4T9J4

So this affiliateId field is present in both Ecwid API and Ecwid app on Zapier, so please try to recreate the zap 'Ecwid orders to Google Sheets' and find the affiliateId field there.

I struggled with this for another hour with no luck. I found places to add the affiliateid but nothing exports to Google Sheets without various errors.

I believe Ecwid needs to create a step-by-step tutorial (or video tutorial) for such a complex setup.

Can we pay you for this to expedite this? Or could we just pay you to set this up for us?

We are very sorry you have had this difficulties in connecting your Ecwid to Zapier and to Google Sheets.

Please let me know what errors you get when trying to set this up?

We totally understand that there is a need for step-by-step instruction and are working on creating it. We are very sorry it is not ready yet.

Please note that to have AffiliateID field available for selection in your Zapier account you need to have a new order with AffiliateID.

Attached show every step of the 3 step Zap that I set up. The first two steps have a green check and are set up correctly, I believe.

The '3c' error comes in the third step when row 2 is empty. It has problems pushing the order data to the Google Sheet https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?usp=sharing

When I added a sample row of data as suggested by Zapier, I got a different '3d' error.

Has anyone actually succeeded in doing what I am trying? Or is this still in beta?

I see that you try to create a new order in Ecwid before adding the order to Zapier. Please see below the steps for creating the Zap:

Connecting Ecwid to Zapier

Make new Zap: http://take.ms/Uk2j1

Login to your Ecwid account if prompted

I am terribly sorry for the delay with the answer.

You can add many columns as you like - just add them in the Google sheet and re-connect the Google sheet to Zapier so that Zapier could 'see' these fields. I have added 9 columns, for example: https://monosnap.com/file/O3rv8w2yJG...F2cimxLmk7fHvr
