UPS.com has some serious issues at this moment: http://www.zdnet.com/blog/btl/dns-ha...affected/57294

So if your store gets real-time shipping rates from the UPS website and you use UPS methods only, then it is possible that your customers cannot checkout.

How to check if you're affected:
1. Open your storefront
2. Add some products to a bag.
3. Try to checkout.
4. If you don't see any UPS methods, but they're enabled: you're affected.

UPS is already fixing this problem. As a quick workaround please create a user-defined shipping method.

If you use any other shipping carriers(e.g. USPS, Australia Post, FedEx) or use your own custom shipping rules, then you aren't affected by the UPS.com problem and your stores work as usual.

---

Update (7 Sept): UPS has fixed the issue.

We found out that our CDN provider has a problem right now, that can cause troubles in loading some files for the Ecwid control panel and storefronts. This problem affects only a small fraction of Ecwid users.

We have now taken the immediate measures to alleviate this problem by disabling the CDN temporarily, so the problem does not affect our users anymore. All the data and the storefronts are safe and will continue to be available.

Our knowledge base(kb.ecwid.com) has some problems right now. Sorry!

PBworks (the wiki service we use for our KB) has just shut the knowledge base down without any prior notice or warning. We're trying to reach them at this very moment. More details coming soon.

--

UPDATE: Our knowledge base is up and working. It was a problem on the PBWorks side.

We're planning to upgrade Ecwid to the version 10.0 this Tuesday (October 11).

While administrators are performing this upgrade, you may experience intermittent periods of down time. The upgrade will be taking place from 6:00 to 7:00 UTC.

At this moment EMS Russian Post has problems with their site and API which Ecwid uses to get automatic "EMS Russian Post" shipping rates.

If you use automatic "EMS Russian Post" rates only, then your customers will not be able to checkout. As a temporary workaround, while EMS fixes the problem, we highly recommend to create user-defined shipping rates in your Ecwid account.

Update: EMS Russian Post has fixed the problem a few minutes ago.

Our Facebook application has some issues at this moment. Log in to the control panel may also not work properly. Our engineers are already fixing the problem.

--

Update: The issue has been fixed. The Facebook application and the log in process of our control panel didn't work properly between Oct 20 08:56 and Oct 20 09:27 EDT because of the malfunction of one of the internal servers.

At the moment the Facebook app and control panel are working without problems as usually. Sorry for these issues!

We're planning maintenance this Saturday (November 12). We will move a part of the stores to the new database server. We do not plan any down time, the whole work is expected to be implemented transparently for the customers.

The maintenance will last from 05:00 to 08:00 UTC.

We've decided to cancel the update planned on November 21 to fix a few pesky bugs we have found recently. We're concerned about stable releases and smooth upgrades, so it's better to wait a little, but have a bug-free version.

v10.1 will be released very, very soon, in a few (~1-2) days.
