Ecwid iPhone app released: manage your store sales from your iPhone


Good news, everyone! We've released the first version of our iPhone app to manage Ecwid orders. Just download it from AppStore, connect it to your Ecwid account and have the sales at your fingertips! Screen-shots: http://imgur.com/a/J7gwB#0




List of features
- Dashboard with you sales and last orders
- View all your sales placed in your store even if you're offline
- View all the necessary order details: ordered products, product options, - customers' billing and shipping addresses, etc.
- Change order statuses and assign tracking numbers.
- Call or email customers right from the order details page.
- Search for specific orders by date, payment and fulfilment statuses
- View unfinished sales and complete them manually right from the app.
- Enhanced security: protect your customer's sensitive info using a passcode lock.


How to get
You can download the app from the Apple's App Store. The application is free, however you need an account with Ecwid and it should also have access to the Ecwid API, so you should be on one of our paid plans. You can upgrade on the My Profile - Billing page in the Ecwid control panel.

However you can always use the demo mode to see how the app works and play with the demo data.

Our app works with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad (in compability mode). Also it is optimized for iPhone 5.

Our plans
Our plan is to gather first feedback about our app and then improve it further based on your suggestions. What every day tasks related to your online store can be (and should be) done from your mobile phone? We'd love to hear your feedback and suggestions.

For example we want to see the following things in the next versions: real-time push notifications about new orders and more easy way to enter your store credentials.

I discovered a bug in the app.
I had three Unfinished sales and deleted them via the pc.
In the app they are still there, I can even placed them for an order.

Thank you for reporting this issue. I've checked how orders are handled in the iPhone app. When you delete an unfinished order from the Ecwid control panel, and then open the orders list in the app the deleted order will be there indeed. But when you click 'Place' button (to process and move this order to active orders list), the order isn't placed actually - it's removed from the app.
That's not a normal behavior, we're going to look into this further and will fix this problem in the app.

Hi Lana,

You are welcome. I am very happy with the app.
I have a few wishes, perhaps they can be added.

I would like that the badge of the Ecwid app give a number when a order has been down, or give me a message in my phone screen.

I would like the possibility to click on the item the customer bought. Because I sell jewelery, they are all unique and I have to see the picture to see what the customer has choosen.

I have tried to do this, the orders are then indeed removed, but the app crashes every time when I do this.

I've noticed this behavior too (the app isn't crashed, rather it's minimized to the tray) and reported it to the engineering team as well. Thank you for informing us and sorry again you have to encounter these issues. We'll let you know as soon as they're all addressed.

How do I find my 'Order API secret key' for the Ecwid iPhone app?
