Shipping and Payment options - adding delivery or pickup

A few things I am trying to do:
  1. Delivery FREE with 100.00 minimum order. If the total doesn't meet the minimum, they need to be charged for the delivery, say $35.00
  2. Pickup options with 3 different locations/days

Payment Options:
  1. COD
  2. PayPal

The most crucial items are the delivery and pickup. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Shipping cost depending on order total is not yet implemented (vote for it here: http://ideas.ecwid.com/forums/22031-...i-e-?ref=title ). Currently you can do the following trick:
1. Set the weight of each of your products equal to its price (e.g. Chuck Roast at $5.20 should have weigh at 5.2 lbs). And by the way, at least some of your products don't have weight defined; they are considered virtual (downloadable) products, hence your customers won't be asked for delivery details for those. You should anyway assign weight to the physical products requiring delivery.

2. After all of your products have their weight equal to their price, you can set the lower weight limit of your free delivery methods to 100 lbs, which effectively means a subtotal of $100. The upper limit should be raised to some number that makes sense (or else with upper weight limit at 1000 lbs you will limit your free delivery to only the orders under $1000, which may or may not make sense for your business).

The local pickup option shouldn't raise any issues then. Once all of your products have weights and the customer address fits the pickup zone, your current pickup options will appear automatically.

Feel free to contact us if you have any more questions.

Can the above method be used if the shipping is set up like this:
Merchandise Total: S & H:
$ 0 - $ 29.99 $ 4.95
$ 30 - $ 74.99 $ 5.95
$ 75 or more FREE - It's on us!

Yes, of course this method can be used for your task. First you set each product weight equal to its price, then create 3 separate user defined shipping methods (Ecwid control panel, System Settings → User-defined methods).

For each shipping method set its weight limitation equal to the subtotal limitations you show in your message (i.e. 0-29.99 weight units for the first shipping method, 30 - 74.99 for the second, 75 - 1000000 for the third) and then assign a single per order rate to each method according to your table. The third method (free) should have a rate with $0.00 in all fields.

I didn't have the phone order option linked to paypal before an order was placed. How do I track a payment or link the payment to my paypal even after the order has been placed?

After inspecting your store we presume the following: the order #11 was placed with Phone Order method before you linked it to your PayPal account. Your PayPal account currently does not have any indication of payment for that order.

Each new Ecwid store has Phone Order method of type Offline Basic enabled by default as an example. Offline Basic type means that your additional steps are required to take payment from the customer ("offline") and that no additional fields will be shown to customer upon checkout when customer chooses this method ("basic"). For example, Phone Order implies that you contact your customer by phone and confirm the way to transfer the money for the order.

In your case the order was placed with such method and (if customer did not contact you specially) no payment was made for it whatsoever.

You now need to do the following:

1. Contact your customer who placed that order to confirm that the order is actual and customer is going to pay for it. The email address of that customer is available in the details of order #11

2.If your customer is willing to pay, manually create an invoice for appropriate payment from your PayPal account and send it to that customer.

3. Once you get the payment, fulfill invoice as usual.

Of course, every store owner should set up the payment methods appropriately before starting sales, but as far as I can see, you now have your PayPal payment method set up correctly in your Ecwid control panel. (For information on how to connect Ecwid to PayPal to take payments please refer to this article: http://kb.ecwid.com/w/page/15853304/PayPal)
