How to create a second Admin user for backend

Hi there. Apologies if this has been covered - have been through the Forums and FAQ but can't spot an answer. I want to create a second Admin user to log into our ecwid store and process the orders. So my staff can use a separate log-in to me.

Is there somewhere that tells me HOW to do this?
Thanks Catherine

This is not currently possible. But the idea is planned and you can vote for it at http://ideas.ecwid.com/forums/22031-...sers-and-roles

Thanks for letting me know so promptly Rob. If Hootsuite and Paypal can have separate log-ins for staffers, I thought ecwid should also. Will def vote for it as you suggest. regards Catherine

Currently Ecwid works on the "one account - one store" basis.

It is somewhat possible to allow another person to access the Ecwid control panel with their own credentials: the store must be initially created with the social login form (i.e. the buttons on the left of the sign in screen at http://my.ecwid.com). Then the second, separate login is possible with the classic login and password, as described here: http://kb.ecwid.com/w/page/27230366/...ginandpassword

We are of course planning to add the ability to manage a store from many separate accounts - please vote for this idea to get notified when that functionality is ready.

The last "we are planning on it" message was written on 11/19/12.

What's the status now, on 4/20/13? It's been 5 months.

Hi,

The ability to allow multiple admin users is already in our commitment list. Unfortunately, there's no ETA yet. You can vote for this idea:
http://ideas.ecwid.com/forums/22031-...sers-and-roles
It's in Planned status at the moment. When the status is updated, all users, who voted for the idea, will be notified.

For now, you may be interested in the following workarounds:

1. To create two logins as suggested Eugene in his previous post

2. If you want your employees to obtain order details, it's now possible to specify more than one email addresses that will receive order notifications:
in Ecwid control panel, System Settings -> Mail -> Admin notifications, field "Send notifications to email:"

3. Your staff could use Ecwid mobile app for iPhone to manage orders. Please, refer to this forum post:
