By the way, all Ecwid themes from Thematizr.com include a code (in the end of the theme) that allows the shop owner to set any custom text for the buttons. You won't have to draw a new image or host it somewhere - the only thing you will need to do is to type the necessary text in place of defaults that we now ship with each theme.

I updated the CSS code, allowing you to translate custom "Add to bag" buttons. Please, try out to apply the new code in your Ecwid control panel > Settings > Design page:

Code:
/* button "aggiungi al carrello" ITA */

body.ecwid-lang-it div.ecwid-AddToBagButton-up,
body.ecwid-lang-it div.ecwid-AddToBagButton-up-hovering,
body.ecwid-lang-it div.ecwid-AddToBagButton-ie6-up,
body.ecwid-lang-it div.ecwid-AddToBagButton-ie6-up-hovering {

}

/* button "add to cart" EN */

body.ecwid-lang-en div.ecwid-AddToBagButton-up,

I will edit the original post as well.

Please, feel free to write me back if you have other concerns. Have a wonderful day!

Hi Wendy!

Thanks a lot for your help: now it works perfectly

I've noticed you inserted a number string before the real URL only for the italian button (say https://9f3915999ece6c260f03de654b33c0fd77029b57.URL). Is there a reason for that?

I've tried also without this string and the code works with no problems. I'm asking you because in the next month I'll add other languages, so I need to figure out where to pick up this string...

Thanks,

Hi!

You are welcome! I am glad to learn that the code helped.

I didn't change anyhow the URL addresses of the button image in the CSS code. I copied the code from your custom CSS theme (in your Ecwid control panel > Settings > Design page) and changed CSS classes (for ex. body.ecwid-lang-it div.ecwid-AddToBagButton-up).

In general, the URL address of the button image should be an absolute path to the image, it is the link that opens the image in the Internet. So, you can add any link that opens the button in your custom CSS code.
