change text size in vertical category only

I would like to reduce the font size in the vertical category listing without changing the horizontal categories. (I'm using vertical categories on some pages and horizontal categories on others.) This link:

http://kb.ecwid.com/w/page/15853272/...gory-text-size

recommends "How to change look of category names in vertical categories widget"

a span.ecwid-categories-category {
font-size:13px !important;
color: black !important;
}

But this seems to change the horizontal-category font-size, as well. Any suggestions as to limiting it to vertical categories only? Thank you.

For this rule to affect only the vertical categories, you need to change the selector a bit, so it targets the children elements of vertical categories widget, like this:

Code:
div.ecwid-categories-vertical a span.ecwid-categories-category {
	 font-size:13px !important;
	 color: black !important;
}
(I've highlighted the added part in bold). With this change the selector will only apply to the text in vertical categories.
