Product display issues

Hi there,

I'm new to Ecwid and I can't seem to persuade my products to display any way other than stacked vertically on top of each other.

I also can't seem to get the CSS to override - i.e if I paste a command up into the custom box it doesn't seem to be affecting the end result. Can anyone help me out please?

Many thanks!

Hi Elli,

I found class="col-7-12" in the page code:
HTML Code:
<div class="col-7-12">
<div class="content transpback paddingtop_15px">
  <h1 class="heading ">CymbalMagic Online Shop</h1><br>
    <div id="my-store-7607795" class="ecwid">
      ... other code here
    </div>
  </div>
</div>
when I remove this class, everything becomes ok

Hi Vitaly,

Thanks for looking into it for me - the problem I'm experiencing is that I can't seem to overwrite the CSS styling. I tried to edit this:

/* Head labels */
div.ecwid-productBrowser-head {
font: normal 20px helvetica, arial, verdana, sans-serif;
color: #EEEEEE;
word-wrap: break-word;
}

by adding it to the overwrite box and changing the text colour, but it doesn't seem to be working - the colour remains the same as it was on the default template.....

This was the case for any other bits of css I tried to change.

Many thanks,
Elli

Hi Elli,

I checked your Ecwid control panel > Settings > Design > Custom CSS themes and I see that you have a custom theme 'New theme 4' there. However, that theme is not active, which means that this code is not applied to your storefront, hence the color isn't changing.

So please go to Ecwid control panel > Settings > Design > Custom CSS theme and make sure that your custom theme is active - http://take.ms/5yZGL and the changes will apply after you save them.
Thank you.
