To our regret, we do not have integration with the Pinterest tag and their Promoted Pins, sorry for that.

I've created the idea to create such an integration in our system. If our developers decide to implement such feature in Ecwid, we'll update you on this matter.

Recently, we've added the possibility to verify the ownership of the Ecwid Starter Sites with Pinterest so our merchants could check the analytics for their Starter Sites on Pinterest dashboard. Please, refer to our article on the matter: Verify your Starter Site with Pinterest

It might be possible to develop a custom integration with Pinterest tag. This option requires programming skills so you may think about hiring a 3rd-party developer. Also, the application can be developed by our Customization Team. Let us know, if you are interested in this option, and they will contact you and you’ll discuss details. We actually solved it ourselves quite easily as we are not using the starter site, and are now able to track conversions in some way.

1.) We verified ownership by using the code in the header section

2.) We installed the base pixel in the header section of all pages

3.) We installed the "purchase" event code in the "thank you for the order" page in Ecwid

We have good news. In the recent update, our team has released a new feature—the integration with the Pinterest tag.

So, wanted to let you know: now you can enter your Pinterest tag ID in your Ecwid Control Panel → Settings → General → Tracking & Analytics in order to track the behaviour of users who come to your store after viewing your Promoted pins on Pinterest.

You will be able to track the following events:

PageVisit — a user opens any page in your Ecwid store.
ViewCategory — a user opens a category page.
AddToCart — a user adds a product to the cart.
Checkout — a user has placed an order in your store.
Search — a user searches for something in your store.
StartCheckout — a user added products to the cart, went to the checkout but didn’t place an order.
