Banner image above product browser

Hi guys.
I'm trying to have a banner image display above my product browser, but do not want to see it on product detail pages.

Is there a straightforward way to do this?
I've done some reading through the forums and haven't found a solution yet.
If it helps, I am using Squarespace and my shop only has nine products in one single category.
