Michel,

I'll contact their support directly and do my best in order to get this fixed asap.

Meanwhile, please send the file sale.php that you host on your server to us (you can attach it to your message here). I'll try to troubleshoot it myself.

Jim Webster here from iDevDirect. From what I can tell, the tracking pixel code has a spelling error in the sale amount.

&idev_salesmt=

SHOULD BE:
&idev_saleamt=

Without passing idev_saleamt in the tracking pixel, iDevAffiliate won't receive the sale amount in which case it can't calculate the commission amount and will produce a "Processing Error".

Jim,

Thank you very much.

Since it is obviously the bug in the code templates you provide, please make the corresponding corrections here:
http://www.idevkb.com/assets/ecwid.pdf

Also, please pay attention to the line that contain the code " img.src = ..." . It also contains an error (there is no variable 'img' defined in the code). I mentioned it here:
http://www.ecwid.com/forums/showthre...5231#post75231 (see the point #3)

The errors in that document will likely cause the same issues for other clients until the doc is corrected. Thank you for understanding.

The code from that document was copied/pasted from a forum thread here:
http://www.ecwid.com/forums/showthread.php?p=44456

It should have been proof-read and will updated in the document shortly.

Default And next ?

From what I understand both of you have identified where was the problem. Jim Webster mentioned something about updating shortly. How do I stand ? do you still need the sale.php file ?
By the way, I don't handle php: on Bitkinex, I went to the idevaffiliate sale.php page, but since there is no "save as.." all I could do is copy it onto a Notepad renamed php page, with a huge line of caracters.
I tried to upload it from the url directly from your uploader, but had an invalid file name. This will do or not ? Michel

Michel,

Please make the corrections Jim suggested in its post above:
http://www.ecwid.com/forums/showthre...5382#post75382

It should fix the issue. Please let us know if you need help with that.

Thank you, that was really a "not easy one", and it is all cleared by now. My commissions work fine. I have two additional questions:
ONe: we have just 15 products in our shop, an no category. Regardless, on our page, people must click on "shopping card" button and get to a list of category, then they have to go down the page and click again, and finally find the products to sale. I would like to skip one page: I would like to have immediately the products show, ready to be purchased. How can I remove these intermediary pages.
this is the initial link to the store: http://www.affiliated2health.com/shop then, there is a link for customers who have an account, and I dont need it, but after, there is a "Boutique" link of no use: http://www.affiliated2health.com/sho...=0&sort=normal
and finally, one can land on that page:
http://www.affiliated2health.com/sho...=0&sort=normal
Cant we have our visitors only see this last page ?
Also, we would like to show our 15 products in a specific order (not as a grid, not as a list, not by date of creation, not by sale amount: our specific order, since there is our own logical suite. How to organize this ?
About affiliation, I notice that anybody who purchase something on our boutique and give up half way through the checkout, this will generate a commission. Since we only accept credit cards or Paypal, can't Ecwid just track paid orders ? If we have hundreds of purchases , shall we have to check one by one every sale to make sure the payment was finalised ? Thanks for advices.. Michel

Michel,

The tracking code is triggered only when a customer reaches the 'Thank you for your order' page. That page appears only after finishing the order placing. So, the unfinished orders (half finished) shouldn't generate any sales reports unless you place the tracking code somewhere else besides the thank you page.

Can you please provide an example from your store when an unfinished order was sent to iDevAffiliate? (Please post the order number).

As to the other questions, please create a new thread and ask them there. Please, keep one topic per thread. It will help other users find both questions and answers.
