Single Product Widget // "Ad to bag" button will op in a new page

Dear Ecwid,

I have made a webshop in Wix and Ecwid (premium account) and it works fine!

I use different single product widgets on my website. Is it possible to open a link "ad to cart" on a new page or a bigger box. My single product HTML code is at this moment too small for the checkout page (you see ugly scroll bars).

Thank you for your help!

Kind regards,
Bert

Hello Bert,

Wix site structure is that there're independent elements functioning in iframes. Each custom script or Ecwid widget can be shown inside separate iframe element only. These limitations are not something that's imposed by Wix or Ecwid. Wix just uses the iframe technology to build the websites. And this technology, on browser level, has such process restrictions.

Single product widget added on the home page of your site are placed inside independent iframe element too. As a result, all store links and messages are shown inside the same iframe element.

I'm afraid it is not possible to use Single products widgets in Wix yet.

As a workaround, I suggest you the following:
1. Install store via our official application, if possible. Please, refer to this article for details: http://help.ecwid.com/customer/porta...es/1213172-wix It will let you to link to particular products/categories (as you probably noticed, store link doesn't change, when you switch between store pages)
2. Replace "Add to Bag" button with the link to product page in your store. In this case, you will be able to shown product widget on the hoem page of your site and provide customers the possibility to buy this item easily.

If you need any help with this, please, feel free to ask.
