Previewing Customer Notifications

Is there any way to preview the customer email notifications. In the Order is Completed email I have added a link requesting customers to provide us with a review and would like to know how it looks and if the link functions.

The best way to preview them is to place a test order as a customer.

If this is supposed to be the 'best way' to preview email notifications, then you're suggesting that there are also other ways to do this. If so, please advise, because what might seem the best way of doing things to one person does not mean it is the same for everyone.

I mean, what if a customer places an order just when the admin has changed the mail notifications? It's all but practical if the admin/store owner needs to place a test order himself first in order to see the changes he made. The store owner/admin surely would like to be able to review the result of those changes before s/he decides to activate/enable the updated mail notifications.

Thank you.

Hello!

We do comprehend that it would be much more convenient for the store admin to preview or receive the exact e-mail notifications being sent to the customers once they order/pay for the goods.

But, good news, we have implemented an advanced notifications feature: HTML notifications. You can enable those notifications in Ecwid Control Panel -> System Settings -> General ->Migrations (for those who registered after this feature had been added, it is enabled by default).

And this very feature includes an option receiving a copy of customer notification to the admin e-mail. To enable the feature please follow the instruction:

Proceed to your Ecwid Control Panel -> System Settings -> Mail.
Scroll the page down and slide the green slider button rightwards to enable the function for sending a copy of customer notification to admin.

Furthermore, we’re planning to add the emails preview there. Right now I can’t provide you with the exact date when it’s released.

Appreciate your concern and thanks for choosing Ecwid!
