Question

Early bird pricing for Courses

Hi team

Is it possible to have Early Bird rates in Ecwid?

For example, I am running a course on 1 June 2014 which is usually $375 but if payment is received by 1 May 2014 then it's $360

Store URL is https://www.facebook.com/MichelleGra...p_251458316228 (currently Closed for Maintenance)

Thank you

Hi!

Actually Ecwid lets you customize discounts in many ways. These discounts can be applied to one or more products. They may depend on the items quantity or on the subtotal amount.

I suggest you use the “discount coupons” feature in your case.

With this functionality you’ll be able to set up your discount coupon so that your customers could buy your course with a discount till May 1, 2014.

There are three steps you should do:

1. Create a new discount coupon. Go to the my.ecwid.com and open the Promotions → Discount Coupons page. Press the "New coupon" button.

2. Set it up. Specify date limits and select the item for which this coupon would be applied.

3. Place a banner or some text on your site to inform your customers about courses’ sale. For example, “5% discount for all customers who buy the course till May 1. Use coupon: XXXXXXXXX”

You can also watch discount coupons video tutorial made by one of Ecwid users:
