Goodmorning everybody!

I wanted to highlighted a product in a widget in Wordpress by using html.

The product has more options which changes normally the price, when selecting it.

But when a costumer choose a option in the html, the prices doet not changes.

They see the right prices when they look in the cart, but they are then very dissapointed because the price was not wat they thought it should be.

I hope you have a solution for this problem?

Thank you for the explanation and for the screenshots.

The thing is the single product HTML code has the product price displayed with just the statiс text in HTML, it does not update itself upon selecting the options matching some variations, unfortunately. There is a corresponding idea in our ideas base, please vote for it for the feature to be implemented sooner and to get notified when it happens: http://ideas.ecwid.com/forums/22031-...ct-html-code-s

I recommend you using Product browser which allows to display full product information, has a lot of features like product variations and many others and updates automatically when you change product values in the control panel.

Also you can consider embedding the product using another approach:

Hi Liza,

Thank you for your answer. I saw that the idea already was planned in april this year, so I dont see the need to vote.

I have tried the solution of the productbrowser, but for me it is to much work, because the column had to change every time I add a new product.

I have now choosen a simpeler solution, I have add a link to the picture of the product en made a link to the product, when they click the picture.

Hope it will be soon added in Edwid itself.

Hi Jason.

Single product widgets work a little bit differently, than product browser widget (your Ecwid store and main Ecwid widget). For example, we added the support of the price of product to include the taxes when such option is enabled for a product and tax.

The feature when price of a product is updated when you select option that modifies price in any way, is in development stage at the moment and it will be released in one of Ecwid future updates. I will inform you in this thread when this happens.
