Limits of purchasing

[QUOTE=Qetzal;10918]Thank you for the detailed explanation.

1. Limits of purchasing.
If you want the product be purchased only once, it's possible.
- log in into your Ecwid control panel and go the Catalog page. Click the necessary product.
- find the "Stock control" section, it's under the Price field. Expand this section.
- change the value to "Limited" and set the product quantity.

Does this limit it to 1 per purchase or the stock limit to 1?

I would like to know how to limit it to 1 purchase per customer.

Hello,

Ecwid tracks inventory in real time: once an order is placed the product quantity is decreased.
If customer tries to add to the bag more items than available in the stock, he won't be able to do it (each customer can put into bag only as many items as there are in stock now and not more). It means, if you limited a product to 1, when it’ll be bought once it will not be available after. You’ll receive a notification letter Low Stock and you’ll be able to restock it, this feature is enabled by default and is situated in Ecwid control panel, System Settings -> Mail -> Admin notifications, "Stock notification"
To know more about tracking the inventory, please refer to the article: http://help.ecwid.com/customer/porta...ntory-tracking

As for one purchase per customer, the embedded feature is not available at the moment, but there is a workaround, please refer to this thread http://www.ecwid.com/forums/showthre...8240#post28240
