Display specific subcategories on website

I have read the instructions on how to display a specific category (and actually have used it several times with success) However it doesn't seem to be working for me anymore. I think in the past I have only used it to display main categories. Can this feature not be used to display subcategories?

This feature still works and it works for any enabled category. Maybe you have put the disabled category's ID into the code? Only enabled categories will work as expected.

If you are sure that category you try to show by default is enabled, then I would need the URL to the page where you have this issue to investigate the case further.

OK, here is the URL:

I have double checked that the category is indeed enabled and the code looks good. I assume I am missing a small detail like a space or something. Thank you for the help!

Thanks for sending the link. I could inspect your code and found the following.

You use the following code to set the default category:
Code:
"defaultcategoryid=1057595"
However, the correct way to do this should look like:
Code:
"defaultCategoryId=1057595"
(mind the case of C and I). Everything else except for the case of letters is correct.

If you change your code this way, it will display the default category which you point by its ID.
