I was wondering if the checkout of Ecwid is onsite or offsite

Thanks!

Hi Tommy,

This is Wade from Ecwid Customer Care team. Thank you for your message!

Whether the checkout in your store processes the payment onsite or offsite depends on the specific payment gateway that is connected to your store.

Some of them integrate the payment form right into your Ecwid store, so the customers will be able to pay for the order without leaving the website, for example Stripe. Others, like Authorize.Net, will open the payment form in a new tab of the browser.

Feel free to check this list of the supported payment gateways for more details:

https://support.ecwid.com/hc/en-us/a...s/360000613249

Hope this helps! Should you have any questions for me, feel free to ask!

Hi Wade,

I am thinking to use Stripe/ Google Pay/ Apple Pay/Paypal and Amazon Pay.
With these options can i have the full tracking in FB Pixel and G Analytics?
I know with Paypal you have to leave the website but not sure about the rest.

Regards

Hi Tommy,

It's Gunter from Ecwid team.

Ecwid supports different online payment methods including PayPal, Stripe, Square, etc. Full list you can find here: https://support.ecwid.com/hc/en-us/a...s/360000613249
Sorry, there are no integrations with Google Pay, Apple Pay, and Amazon Pay right now. Yet, they might be added in the future. We can notify you when they are released. For this, you can send us an email to support@ecwid.com and we'll add your email to the waiting list.

Thank you!

As for Facebook Pixel and Google Analytics, they will track the orders even if the payment method redirects to their own page because it will redirect back to the store page once the order is paid. Then the order will appear in the tracking data.

Hope this answers your questions. Feel free to contact us through online chat at ecwid.com or via email at support@ecwid.com
Have a great rest of the day!
