ECWID <> WIX - Customers can no longer return to the store main page without refreshing !!


Just spoke with ECWID chat and there is a known issue with WIX integration since yesterday evening which keeps your customers from getting back to the store main page / product grid after they have selected a store item.

THIS IS A VERY BIG PROBLEM

Edward M w/ ECWID said they are aware of the issue, have a fix, but it may take a few days before it's in place. NOT ACCEPTABLE.

Edward denied me a path to escalation - Not good. < Edward did finally escalate to his manager but it is "email only".

I SUGGEST OTHERS START MAKING NOISE ABOUT THIS NOW as who knows how many customers will just drift away unable to simply browse your store effectively. We need ECWID to implement this fix immediately.

Hi Bill,

I went to your site, drilled all the way down to a specific product page, then hit "Shop" in your header and it no longer brings me back just the same as mine. Is your experience different? I drilled all the way down to the "WattsRunning Running and Racing Logs" page.

Ok, I see what you mean. All of my other header links work, but the Shop link does not. I was using the "Category" link to navigate. You are correct and thanks for the information. I'll contact Wix as well.

We have already released a fix, so the issue with returning to the home page is gone now. All stores on Wix websites are up and running and operate as usual.

We have also contacted you via email explaining the situation.

it is not working for me! when someone comes to my page they can buy the package and it does go to shopping cart but then you are unable to click on the shopping cart to pay, would love some advice asap, thanks

Abbie, without actually making a purchase, I was able to select an item and go to the shopping bag and then proceed to the purchase page. From where I'm at, it appears to be working okay.
