Thanks for replying.

The new API takes care of credit card and Bancontact/Mr Cash for Belgium clients. I know MultisafePay does cover these, but because you pay for a monthly subscription and per order it's way more expensive for small order-amounts. So it's NO option!
Also, when Mollie stops supporting the old API, shop-checkouts will stop working and we have no alternative.

Hi Clara K,

In response to your question, below is a list of the payment methods that are supported by the new Mollie API. As you can see, it is a much larger list than the old API which only supports iDeal. Upgrading this API would ensure that merchants only need Mollie as a payment integrator for all their payment methods.

Some of these methods are indeed supported by Multisafepay, however they are ridiculously expensive compared to Mollie, definitely not worth it for a small merchant.

Considering the large number of newly supported payment methods, on behalf of all Dutch merchants I really hope upgrading this API can be brought forward on Ecwid's roadmap.

iDeal
creditcard
Bancontact
Sofort
Offline bank transfer
SEPA direct debit
Belfius
Paypal
Bitcoi
Podium
Paysafecard

Default update on Mollie implementation

Every now and then I check on Ecwid to see if they finally have any progress on implementing Bancontact via Mollie or one of the other providers, except Multisafepay (way too expensive). And I'm amazed, but not surprised that there is still no progress whatsoever on this. Do you guys have like a deal with multisafepay or something?
It can't be that hard to implement. And what about Sisow, or even CCV?

Hi
As a Belgian non-profit with an ecwid webshop for 3 yrs now... Paypall alone just doesn't do the job anymore: we really need the local and affordable payment methods Mollie is offering.
Is this happening in the near future?
Thanks for your reply.

Thanks for your reply.
Enter your Mollie PartnerID at the Ecwid payment settings instead of the API-key, this will solve your issue. Your Mollie PartnerID is located at the top right of your screen (under your name) after logging into your Mollie account.

Hi

This ongoing discussion is a bit odd. A lot of customers are asking for a working Mollie integration. Not just with iDeal, but with all the payment methods we offer.

I would love to look for a possiblity to integrate Mollie more further in your platform. Could you guys please contact me via partners[at]mollie.com so we can work something out?

Dear ecwid,

Please add Sofort and SEPA banking trough MOLLIE platform.

I'm loosing customers and MONEY!

Yes sofort is possible trough multisafepay, but multisafepay needs my customers , to create an account first at multisavepay before they can use multisafepay platform. That's a big no for a lot
Of customers.. because they just created an account at my store , they need another account to pay? Bull!

Clients / customers want to shop and pay. Easy and fast as it gets.

Ecwid supports iDeal on the Mollie platform. Works perfect. Fast and secure no hassle.

Now it's time to integrate SOFORT for Germany and France and SEPA direct for all of Europe!
Though Mollie, because it's shop, pay and go.

I worked with multisafepay a month , never again. Slow, very expensive and to much hassle for nothing .

Yes bank transfers offline is also an option, but 1/3 customers never makes the transfer. This is a BIG loss for my webshops. If SEPA or SOFORT was accepted I would not loose them.

Hey, this is around 100€ a day I'm loosing because Ecwid lacks payment options.

Please fix this Ecwid. Im allready 2 year waiting on these payment platforms!

If anyone has an idea or suggestion, email me

sofort and SEPA trough MOLLIE platform!

Waiting 2 years allready. Loosing money and customers !

Multisavepay is BULL, Customer needs an account with MSP to pay.
Why????

Clients want to SHOP and PAY. No hassle!

Please Ecwid. Intergrate with mollie!

But for sure , you made a deal with multisafepay.

Same as for different currencies. It's so easy but Ecwid doesn't offer
Multi currencies. Why? Now people need 2 or more accounts at Ecwid.

$$$$

Please FIX these issues Ecwid. Show us Ecwid is no. 1 online store platform
FUTUREPROOF and not walking behind the facts.

If anyone has an idea or suggestion regarding the Sofort / SEPA intergration.

Please contact me!
