Ok. I got the store setup on my facebook fan page and it's spiffy for the most part. but my categories list keeps showing up despite the fact that on http://apps.facebook.com/ecwid-shop/ I have the categories menu widget turned to off. It just looks bad with my big long categories list.

But it shows up right when you click the Open your store button in the ecwid app - http://apps.facebook.com/ecwid-shop/store/1134049948

Did I miss something? Will it hurt anything if we just link to the newly created shop from in the ecwid app (http://apps.facebook.com/ecwid-shop/store/1134049948) from the FBML app instead of going through developer app too?

Did you fix this issue?

2. Yes, it's better to link your tab to the newly created shop, because it has some nice features like the Share buttons and auto-login for customers.

I think I figured it out. I got confused when I was reading the directions for setting it up - http://kb.ecwid.com/Facebook There's two options using the ecwid app and making my own. Not one big long set of directions.

It was the shop in the second option that didn't look so nice.

Though I had to use the second part of the "make your own app" directions to link my new store to my facebook fan page. I think that's where I got confused. Is there a way to update the directions page so linking to your fan page directions are next to part where you use the ecwid app?

I'm linked to the correct shop and all is well.
