OK, how i explain this?

A customer wants a select group to buy this item
but only wants his people access to buy so i thought
i can hide this item to public view
and he can let his staff order from a link they will only have access to?

is this possible to hide this item from public viewers to site but if his staff
was emailed the link lets say to order they can see it to place the otder? thanks hope i explained it correctly,Mike
