Ecwid not working in NEW Wordpress site...Please Help

I just purchased and loaded a new WP theme that I plan to use for my new site. Once loaded and working I tried loading Ecwid into it. I loaded the plugin and put a link in the menu on the main page to the store page but when I click on the link in the menu I see the little bar for Ecwid in the middle of the screen but then it goes away and NOTHING. I then am unable to change pages. I have to change the address in the address bar to change screens.

If you go to the site and click on the menu items before the Store link you will see how the pages load. I would like the store page to load the same way and have the store showing in the window. Can someone check it out and maybe see what is going on? I would hate to have wasted my money on a theme that does not work with Ecwid. Everything I have read says that Ecwid will work on any WP site.

The page is rukusnrods.com

Thanks

I have read through all the posts that have similar issues and have tried all the things suggested in them but nothing works. I am kinda wondering if it just is not compatible with my WP theme
Anyone?

OK so here is the code to the template...

PHP Code:
<?php if($_GET['ajaxRequest']!=true){get_header();} ?>
<div id="content" class="grid_8 alpha omega <?php echo of_get_option('blog_sidebar_pos'?>">
    <?php if ( have_posts() ) while ( have_posts() ) : the_post(); ?>
    <div id="post-<?php the_ID(); ?><?php post_class('page'); ?>>
      <article class="post-holder">
        <h1><?php the_title(); ?></h1>
        <?php if(has_post_thumbnail()) {
                    echo
'<a href="'the_permalink(); echo '">';
                    echo
'<figure class="featured-thumbnail"><span class="img-wrap">'the_post_thumbnail(); echo '</span></figure>';
                    echo
'</a>';
                    }

?>
        <div id="page-content">
          <?php the_content(); ?>
          <div class="pagination">
            <?php wp_link_pages('before=<div class="pagination">&after=</div>'); ?>
          </div><!--.pagination-->
        </div><!--#pageContent -->
      </article>
    </div><!--#post-# .post-->

  <?php endwhile; ?>
</div><!--#content-->
<?php //get_sidebar(); ?>
I have made a blank template and was able to get the ecwid store working but it has no formatting at all. I would really like to get my ecwid store to work with this template if possible. I am hoping I do not need to pay someone to make this work but I am willing if there is no other way
Here is the blank template I made with my ecwid store in it...

PHP Code:
<?php
/*
Template Name: Store

*/
?>
<div> <script type="text/javascript" src="http://app.ecwid.com/script.js?1496030"></script> <script type="text/javascript"> xProductBrowser("categoriesPerRow=3","views=grid(3,3) list(10) table(20)","categoryView=grid","searchView=list","style="); </script> <noscript>Your browser does not support JavaScript. Please proceed to <a href="http://app.ecwid.com/jsp/1496030/catalog">HTML version of RUKUS 'n Rods</a></noscript> </div>
I appreciate any assistance on this
Thanks

Hi rukus!

As I can see in the source of this page:
http://rukusnrods.com/#!/store

there is no inclusion of the core Ecwid JS script:
http://app.ecwid.com/script.js?1496030

Even though there IS inclusion of its css:
http://app.ecwid.com/css?ownerid=149...y%23ecwid_body

So, as a first step, could you please try to make sure that you did include JS lib. Without it Ecwid will not work.

As an alternative (and easier) way to get Ecwid working on your WP is to install the following WP plugin:
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/...shopping-cart/

It is pretty easy: install plugin, specify your Ecwid ID in its settings and it is ready to work.

Thanks Tony for your help.

I am not sure why the plugin is not showing. It is installed and configured as you stated.

So why would the plugin not show?

Could you please let me know what is ID of the page, where your Ecwid is installed?

In order to find it, log into your admin area.
Go to page where your Ecwid is installed.
Take a look at the address bar.
You will see the part like post.php?post=NN. NN is ID of the page.

Also, please provide me with content of this page, if possible.

I will try to look deeper into the problem.

Not sure what content you are needing. Here is what is in the HTML part of the store page...
Quote:
<!-- Ecwid code. Please do not remove this line otherwise your Ecwid shopping cart will not work properly. --> [ecwid_script] [ecwid_minicart] [ecwid_searchbox] [ecwid_categories] [ecwid_productbrowser] <!-- Ecwid code end -->
If this is not what you need let me know.

I really appreciate your assistance.

Your current theme is AJAX based. Ecwid is AJAX based too. Turns out they don't come together nicely - the AJAX page loader of the theme does not load the scripts of Ecwid properly. I am looking into what can be done about this.
