Good Morning (for east coasters), every now and then I'm noticing the people are receiving the following (example) links.

wespoilpets.com/store/_escaped_fragment_=/~/product/id=21175514#!/~/product/id=21175514

So from what I understanding it is AJAX and HTML, I am using the ECWID Widget, so I believe it is supposed to handle this issue. So my question is:

Did my customer see the above link, or was it fixed when they went to my site?

If they did, how do I fix it, since I am using the world famous widget

Hi Cathy,

The URL you provided is actually not supposed to appear anywhere. It is for search engines only. Where do you or your customers see that link? I've inspected the Google search results, they look good: http://goo.gl/p7rq8 .

As to the HTML content you see on that page, it is expected behavior. When such an '_escpaed_fragment_' URL is used in request, the response contains product information in a specific SEO-friendly format so that search engines could index it. Your customers shouldn't see that. You can find more details on how it works here:

I was able to duplicate it again
(1) Using Google I searched for Gift Baskets for Dog and Owners
(2) about 10 products down you will see Smiles and Wags Dog and Owner Gift
(3) Click that and you will see double (at least I do)

However, I still cannot reproduce it - all links in the search results work fine, there is no _escaped_version_ ones among them. I believe it work fine for your customers too.

Maybe, you placed somewhere the link with '_escaped_fragment_' and Google just indexed it. If so, you will need to remove it.
