How about if you make text images that say red, black blue and then color your real text to match the background to where they won't show up?

I think what you're trying to do between the widget menu and product browser will break the chain, like taking out a draw bridge but still trying to get to the other bank while driving on the same road.

I think we should fix this issue and make the category names to be clickable. I've created a ticket regarding it in our bugtracker.
