Thank you for contacting us.

Unfortunately, we are unable to reproduce the issue ourselves. We have investigated the Ecwid logs and failed to find any records about any issues in your Ecwid account. The issue may appear because of an issue with Internet connection between a you and our servers in Amazon Cloud.

Could you possibly try to reproduce the issue using the same browser with disabled extensions (private mode)?

Could you possibly try to reproduce the issue using another browser (for instance, Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome)?

Could you possibly try to reproduce the issue using another workstation?

Do you use any proxy or filtering software (AV, firewall, etc)? Can you reproduce the issue if you temporarily disable it?

Let us know the result.

Ok, this is weird, so i start tabbing through, seems like my products are there, but i cannot access my payments settings, theres no options there.
Further, the shipping and tax settings i made are gone.

The only thing that has changed is that i tried to set up payflow, which i could not successfully do.

Hello,

The issue may be connected with some specific software or its configuration on your computer. In most cases such problems are caused by security browser addons or stand-alone anti-virus programs which may slow down Ecwid scripts in IE. What anti-virus software do you use on your PC? In particular, do you use Norton antivirus? Please try to temporary disable it and open your control panel in IE. Does it fix the issue?

Thank you for the details.

There is a known issue with the Avast 7 antivirus slowing down Ecwid widgets in IE9 browser. We've reported it to Avast engineers two months ago and still waiting for their reply. Hopefully they will fix it soon. We'll keep you posted.

Meanhile, in order to overcome it on your side, you can turn off Script shield in Avast (Realtime shields → Script shield → Stop) or use another browser.

Sorry for the troubles caused.

Hello Ecwid Team,
I am new to Ecwid and in the process of setting up my store.
I am now stuck in the variations bit. Each time I add a new variation, I am unable to save it and get the error message: cannot perform this action, server not responding....please try again later.
I have tried the following solutions:
- saving more often and inputting less groups of variations
- logging out and signing back into my store
and a variety of other variations.
Nothing has worked and I'm blocked.
I'm using Safari and working from a Mac.
Please help.
Thanks!

Thank you for your message. That is an important issue and we would like to investigate it to ensure the correct work of Ecwid for you and for everyone.

Can you please detail:

1) Does that happen to some particular product?

2) Does it happen every time?

3) When exactly was the last time when this happened?

Default Server busy errors

Hi Eugene,

Between posting my first posting query and now, I tried to manage the variations in a Firefox browser and got the exact same error message so I went back to Safari.

At first I was able to create and save variations (product, size, qty, photo, & stock)without a problem.

The inability to save due to a “busy server…please try again later” occurred w/o warning while adding a new variation to an existing product line.
I figured that maybe I was adding too many variations at once and ecwid was having trouble saving too many entries in one go.
So I tried less variations (2): same result.
I then tried 1 variation: same result.
I logged out and tried again a few times – same result.
I tried creating variations for different products: same result.
I tried to create variations repeatedly for the better part of the afternoon (2-6pm): same result.

I figured then that the photo uploads were causing the problem although the files are small (50KB/72 px) so I then started doing the variations without photos, saving repeatedly, and only adding photos at the end.
This worked.
A bit laborious and manual so I’m sure there’s a better way (please advise) without getting the “server busy” error.

Please let me know if there’s a better way!
Many thanks.
