Question Forcing products to open in pop-up

I am trying to do what Kate Almond actually did on accident (http://www.ecwid.com/forums/showthread.php?p=41221). I want to use thumbnails of the product that cause the product window to open in a pop-up window when clicked. As seen in the image below:

My store is set up on Blogger & I am hoping to get this implemented before adding my new products. I have set up two testing static pages to try to get this figured out they are located here:

Where the product browser is installed: http://store.alicegraphix.com/p/store.html
Where my thumbnails are located: http://store.alicegraphix.com/p/blog-page.html

Per the thread I linked to above I have made two different thumbnails with different URLs. The top most one has a URL that points to the current page of the thumbnails postfixed with #ecwid:category=0&mode=product&product=2086653. This in theory, according to the thread, should cause the product details to open in a pop-up. Sadly this does not occur & I can't figure out why.

Any insight into how I can fix this & have the thumbnail open in the pop-up? Thank you for any help you have.

I have checked your store and haven't found product thumbnails which you have added manually on the http://store.alicegraphix.com/p/blog-page.html page.

Ecwid opens the link to the product detailed page in a separate pop-up window when the result page doesn't have Product browser widget in it. In your case ttp://store.alicegraphix.com/p/blog-page.html page doesn't have Product browser widget in it, so if you place product thumbnail on this page with following link http://store.alicegraphix.com/p/blog...roduct=2086653 then product with ID = 2086653 in pop-up window will be open.

This is the easiest way to force products to open in pop-up. The drawback of this method is that you will need to add and edit all product thumbnails manually.

Alternatively, you can create custom script using our Product API, which will form products list without using Product Browser automatically.

If you need professional help with this script development. I recommend you to contact our colleagues from Qualiteam. Please, send a message at sales@qtmsoft.com with project description for quote.
