subscription based wordpress + ecwid website

I am using ecwid for selling E-Goods. So far its great and covers most of my requirements. Now there is just one major thing left. I want to used ecwid to sell few subscription based features on my website. Those subscription will just allow the users to access certain pages of my website like a normal subscription based module.

So is there any subscription/membership based wordpress module that supports ecwid? Any help in this regard will really be appreciated.

Hello,

As far as I know, currently, there isn't a module for Wordpress, which provides such functionality, being integrated with Ecwid. However, since Wordpress is an open source project and Ecwid has several useful APIs, it's certainly possible to develop such a custom module, which will meet your requirements. For example, with the help of Ecwid Order API and Instant Order notifications you can handle successful sales in your custom script, make necessary changes in particular database tables (for giving the access) and send email notifications. There are many different ways to build such a tool, it depends on your needs which one is the best for you. If you need help with development of a custom modification on your site, please contact our colleagues from Qualiteam: sales@qtmsoft.com .

In your case, there is also a simple solution which doesn't require coding. Since Wordpress allows have password-protected pages (Publish > Visibility > Edit), you can send a password to those customers who purchased a corresponding product in your store. You can write the passwords in text files and provide such files as E-goods so a customer will get access after he makes a purchase.

Thank you for your reply. Right now we are already using the second option. But to access more than one purchased products, customers need to enter separate passwords. And it becomes difficult for them to manage it in that way.

Yes, having different passwords for different pages is a drawback of the simple solution. Well, as I mentioned previously, you can contact our colleagues from Qualiteam, whose 10 year long experience in custom programming for e-commerce solutions will surely leave you satisfied. If you are interested, send the description of your custom programming project to sales@qtmsoft.com for a quote.
