Hi Kate,

Sorry for delay in replying you. I believe the following solution would do the trick:

1) Find this line:

Code:
jQuery("div.ecwid-productBrowser-auth").insertAfter(".signin-account");
in the following script added by you to your webpage:

Code:
<script type="text/javascript">
Ecwid.OnPageLoaded.add(function(page) {
    jQuery("div.ecwid-productBrowser-auth").insertAfter(".signin-account");
})
</script>
2) replace that line with the following one in that script:

Code:
jQuery("div.ecwid-productBrowser-auth").insertBefore("#block-yui_3_17_2_5_1485878241852_5732");
Also, you can add the following CSS rule to your Ecwid theme in order to move Sign In block to the right:

Code:
.ecwid-ProductBrowser-auth-anonim {
	margin-right: 20px;
}
Hope this helps.

I see that you have added this script before script.js, i.e. it is executed before Ecwid loads. You have to do a simple thing now, Kate: move your custom script after script.js, please see the screenshot: http://take.ms/eQiAA

I should also note that generally custom scripts are created within our customization service.

If you have 1-year subscription to Unlimited Ecwid plan, besides full access to all the features and Shopapp (mobile app for your very store that everybody can download and install on their mobile devices) you also get 12 hours of development and can use them towards custom features and design changes made by our specialists.

Hello,

Have tried implementing this solution to move the login area to a top bar of my wordpress site but without success. Of note, am using the Ecwid plugin for Wordpress.

Website is: https://www.soffitmesh.co.uk/online-shop/

Have added various codes (jquery, javascript and html class) as suggested but have run out of ideas.

Can anyone advise, please?

Thanks,
Richard

Here's a bit more info on what I've tried without success (URL to website is https://www.soffitmesh.co.uk/online-shop/)

Placed following code in sitewide header:

Code:
<script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.7.2/jquery.min.js"></script>
Placed following in ecwid page header:

Code:
<script type="text/javascript">
Ecwid.OnPageLoaded.add(function(page) {
    jQuery("div.ecwid-productBrowser-auth").insertAfter(".signin-account");
})
</script>
Placed this code in sitewide top bar:

Code:
<div id="ecwid_product_browser_scroller"></div>
<div class="signin-account">test
</div>
If anyone can help I'd greatly appreciate it - thanks.

Richard

Hello Richard,

thanks for your message!

I checked the source code of your store page and found out that you added the script before script.js (Ecwid integration code), i.e. it is executed before Ecwid loads. In order to fix the issue you should add the script after Ecwid integration code.

Please, mind, normally we don't offer support with customising the store by means of JavaScript at all — it's an advanced functionality meant for developers. We don't check or troubleshoot javascripts.

We can give a ready code "as is". We can’t guarantee that they will work smoothly with other styles and codes on your website. You might need to adapt the codes to your store. You can do it yourself or hire someone. For example, our Customisation team can adjust the codes for you on a paid basis. Submit a request here: https://ecwidcom.typeform.com/to/vIlijv and they will email you a quote.

Also, I have noticed, that you use our Business subscription. We have the Live Chat/Email support service that is available for Business plan users. The chat icon is shown in the Ecwid control panel in the right upper corner, so you may also contact us via chat or via email.

If any questions appear, please, don’t hesitate to ask.

Hi Daria,

Thanks for spotting this and the great support - with a little css tweaking the link is now looking and working perfectly. Great!

Best regards,
Richard
