$100,000.00 in sales - thank you ecwid

Welcome to my $100,000.00 dollar ecwid store

www.mnm.ecwid.com

We did it without ever displaying a price. Our store is unique because it requires potential clients to log in before pricing is visible. Professional remedies have strict rules in how they can be dispensed so I was surprised how fast we achieved our first milestone in sales.

ecwid allowed us to completely customize the store to our special needs. The staff on the forum deserve a round of thanks for putting up with all my questions while we were getting our customization's set up.

Thank you ecwid and staff for being instrumental in bringing our brick and mortar store online.

Nice site there MNM.
Congrats on taking brick & mortar to E-commence.

It is inspiring to find a business online that worked in a brick and mortar sales point of view: Get them in the door, look around, customer service and then the SALE.

Nice success story for the Ecwid team, too.

Thank you Rebecca

The trick is cross marketing

We are at:

mnm.ecwid.com
store.mnm.ca
shop.mnm.ca
m.mnm.ca
mardiannaturalmedicine.ca
nowstore.ca

Each domain attracts its own clients and all the embeded stores run off one ecwid site. Eventually the sales add up and we are now growing in double digits.

Our main site is www.shop.mnm.ca which runs off wordpress.

That idea of not being able to see pricing until they sign in is genius. How would I go about implementing that option to my own site?

Hi there,

Edward here, Ecwid Team.

Thank you for the message. I'll be happy to help you.

It's possible to do with a bit of CSS coding. We have an article that describes different ways of hiding certain elements of your store based on various conditions, including customers being logged in/logged out: https://support.ecwid.com/hc/en-us/a...in-pages-only-

To hide the prices from the customers who are logged out, you need to add a couple of pieces of the CSS code to your Ecwid store. Please, follow the below steps.

1. Go to the Ecwid Control Panel → Settings → Design → Click on the "Create Theme" button.
2. Create a new theme — hit the "New CSS Theme" button.
3. Add the below CSS code to the empty text field.
4. Activate and Save

If you already have a custom CSS theme, then just to the Ecwid Control Panel → Settings → Design → Edit theme → Paste the code below to the bottom of the field → Activate and Save

Code:
body.ecwid-customer-loggedOut .ecwid-productBrowser-price,
body.ecwid-customer-loggedOut .ecwid-productBrowser-cart-totalAmountPanel,
body.ecwid-customer-loggedOut .ecwid-productBrowser-cart-subtotalAmountPanel,
body.ecwid-customer-loggedOut .ecwid-productBrowser-cart-shippingAmountPanel,
body.ecwid-customer-loggedOut .ecwid-productBrowser-cart-taxAmountPanel{
display: none !important;
}
This code will hide the prices for any visitors who are not logged in.

Furthermore, you might want to change the text of some store elements to notify your visitors that they need to log in to see the prices. We have a detailed article on this topic in our Help Centre: https://support.ecwid.com/hc/en-us/a...s-in-my-store-

I hope this helps.

Please, let me know if you have any questions.

I add this to notify customers...

Quote:
/*Adds the note to the cart page for the logged out customers*/
body.ecwid-customer-loggedOut .ecwid-productBrowser-cart-termsCheckbox:before {
display: block;
content: "Pricing is only visible when signed in. To view prices & specials click the sign in link above to sign in or create a New Account.";
font-size: 15px;
padding-bottom: 10px;
color: #E10707;
font-weight: 500;
text-align: justify;
}

Also this as sign in link

Quote:
/* Sign In for Pricing to Red*/
a.gwt-Anchor.ecwid-productBrowser-auth-signInLink {
color: #D62A33 !important;
}
That makes the sign in part red.
Use the "Edit Store Labels" app to change to wording to "Sign in for Pricing"

You need to change this label

ProductBrowser.sign_in:
