Please check out our new site http://serendipityclub.blogspot.com. We sell authentic luxury/designer goods sourced from boutiques around Europe. Currently, we only cater to Singapore buyers.

We believe in the power of AJAX and it being the future of web programming. For a small business that's just starting out, the ECWID and blogger variation proves to be a highly cost effective platform. ECWID provides excellent out of the box Facebook social tools, but lacks SEO. However, blogger does pretty well in this aspect(being part of Google) has given us alot of web exposure.

Did you manually add the "Sold" tags to the images of sold listings?

Thanks babe! Yes the sold tags were manually added into the thumbnails. Ecwid can't do them for me

The Seo can be used as a plugin if your on a wordpress platform on your own webhosting.

thanks guys! yes, it took us months of planning and careful thought to materialise the site! we wanted a clean and classy look with a product-centric user experience, and its so amazing how flexible ecwid and blogger are!

well, we just started business not too long ago, so we'r prolly going to stick with our current setup in blogger. in the future, when we're more mature, we sure could migrate to our own hosting!

I agree with other commenters, the site's beautiful! But I wouldn't put off acquiring your own domain name. It's better to do earlier than later, before building up a customer base.

Because of Ecwid's awesome flexibility there's no problem having the shop mirrored at two addresses. Though I'd just shut down the blogspot one I think.
