Using Edwid with Joomla

I am looking to move the category description in Ecwid so that it displays below the sub categories or products? I believe I have found the right information for doing this at https://gist.github.com/makfruit/11148226.

The problem I am having is that it tells me to put the code after the Ecwid integration code on my site!? I am using Joomla 3, from which I understand from all the reading I have done is that Joomla manages all of this on installation/integration of Ecwid!. So how and where do I insert this script?

See Suggested code/snippet below

<!--

https://gist.github.com/makfruit/11148226

Put this code after Ecwid integration code on your site
-->
<script src="http://code.jquery.com/jquery.min.js"></script>
<script>
Ecwid.OnPageLoaded.add(function(page) {
if (page.type == 'CATEGORY') {
jQuery(".ecwid-productBrowser-categoryDescription").insertAfter(".ecwid-productBrowser-category");
}
});
</script>

Can any one please advise/help?

You would paste the script in a module and then place it in a module position that doesn't effect your site content. Make sure to assign this module to all of the pages that you want this script to be executed on. This will then place the script within your page to execute.

I believe that is how I was told to do it. Please let me know if I am incorrect.

Hi Kimo

thank you for your reply, I have done this but would you know what position I would need? I assume as it is to do with categories and products it would be all pages.

Regards

Jane

Sorry, got distracted, position? top, bottom, middle or not at all?

Eureka! I have done it!

Hi

I placed in the content-bottom-a position if it helps!

Hello,

Kimo is right. You should paste this code on your site according to this article: http://help.ecwid.com/customer/porta...ules-in-joomla
