Inventory Update

Hi,

I have one question regarding the inventory update, and the answer will decide if yes or no I will continue using Ecwid (even if it is the best solution so far for the other features).

So, on my website, www.getyourplace.ca, I sell items that have just an inventory of 1, for all product.

I simulated many "sells", and the inventory will actually decrease (ie be equal to 0) after the payment is made on Paypal. So the problem is, I will surely double or triple the sale of some items whereas I just have one in quantity.

So I just want to know if there is a way to update automatically the inventory when someone put one of the items in his "Shopping Bag"? So that 3 people can't have at the same time a same product in their shopping bag whereas there is just 1 in inventory.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Regards,

Inventory is updated in Ecwid when a customer proceeds to checkout and completes the order, not when he/she adds a product to bag.
Please refer to the following post for details:
