Delete Order - Adjust Stock


When I delete an order will the inventory be restored and that item put back?

No. If you remove an order, Ecwid doesn't change the inventory of the purchased products. If you want to restore it, you should decline the order first.

At the bottom of the sales -> orders page 'Delete Selected'

Useful for getting rid of test orders but for real orders it is usually more appropriate to change the payment status of the order as Qetzal suggests so that your stock is adjusted and you have a record of the order.

If you delete some order, you cannot restore it yourself, unfortunately.

In case you delete some orders accidentally you need to create a bugtracker (http://www.ecwid.com/bt/) ticket with following information:
1. A request to restore the products from backups
2. The ID of your store
3. The moment in time to which you want to restore your shop stage (e.g. yesterday, a week ago, an hour ago )

Please, note, that restoring products from backups can't be made immediately and usually takes about one business day.
