I have received an email from ECWID asking me to verify that I own the email address.

However, when I click the link, I get: "Cannot activate your account
Please make sure this is the right URL. Copy the URL from your mail message and paste it into the location box in your browser."

I did that - same result. The store ID is 163018.

Usually such a problem appears due to two reasons:

- your e-mail client corrupts the verification link somehow
- you get several verification links and try to use the old one

I've sent the correct link to your e-mail, please try to open it.

The new link worked - thanks - and it could well have been the issue of several verification links, because I was trying to make a change.

You see I initially logged into Ecwid with my Google account, as that seemed an easy option, and I then started configuring a new store, adding it to our club's website, etc. Then I suddenly realised that when I was ready to turn it over to our regalia officer, so he could take over the store management, I'd have to give him my Google login data in order for him to add products!

I couldn't find a way to give him separate login, so I figured I'd have to start the whole process all over again, after creating a different Ecwid login which I could pass over when it was time.

Or did I miss an easier solution?

As far as I can see the store number 871006 does not currently need activation. So, can you better describe your problem? Does it persist for you? Or is it another problem?

Sorry to hear about this problem! Two questions:

1. Did you register your Ecwid account via our Wix application?

2. Did you get the incorrect verification link in the Welcome email?

Yes, I registered via Wix.
I clicked on the verification link in the email, and it didn't work.
