Question

Trouble integrating Affiliatly with Ecwid

I'm trying to embed affiliate order tracking. I know where to put the code, but something is incorrect because orders are not being tracked.

https://for-my-homies.ecwid.com/

The raw code from Affiliatly to embed for affiliate order tracking is:

<script type="text/javascript" src="https://www.affiliatly.com/easy_affiliate.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">markPurchase('AF-1020347', order, price);</script>

I'm trying to modify to suit, by replacing 'order' with %order_id%, but it's not working.

<script type="text/javascript" src="https://www.affiliatly.com/easy_affiliate.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">markPurchase('AF-1020347', %order_id%, %order_total%);</script>

Any help?

Hi!

My name is Emma and I am from Ecwid Customer Care team. Thank you for reaching out!

I believe you found that code under the 'Integrations' tab inside your Affiliatly account: http://take.ms/wTFpW (screenshot)

The thing is that you don't actually need this code. Let me tell you more. Our integration with Affiliatly starts working when you install the Affiliatly app from Ecwid App Market: https://www.ecwid.com/apps/marketing/affiliatly

Once you install the app and register the Affiliatly account you'll see the following under the 'Integrations' tab: "Affiliatly is already integrated with your store (this was done during the installation of the app). Referred visitors and orders made by those visitors are tracked." Screenshot: http://take.ms/7FkeF

This means that you don't need to put any extra codes inside your Ecwid control panel. Your affiliates will use the links of this view https://for-my-homies.ecwid.com/?aff=1 (which is your store address with the affiliate's unique add-on). Each affiliate will have their own link. And, once the orders are placed via such an affiliate link, you will track them under 'Orders' in your Affiliatly account.

Here is the example from my test Affiliatly account: http://take.ms/S0DpL

Besides, the integration with Affiliatly was created by Affiliatly developers, so feel free to contact them as well when any questions regarding your affiliate program arise. You can reach out to their team via this link: https://www.affiliatly.com/contact.html

Hope, this helps. if you have any further questions or need assistance, feel free to contact us via this form: https://support.ecwid.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

We will be happy to help!
