Centering Bab in Sidebar

I use the 2010 Theme and all my sidebars are aligned in the center. The Shopping bag which is in a sidebar is left justified.

I search the forums and found this solution but I need more detail as to how this is actually done. Where and what files get adjusted, and where within a file is the adjustment placed? Thanks Don

"It's easy to add the bag to your WP sidebar. Just add a custom text widget to your sidebar, copy your bag widget code and paste it into the custom text widget and delete the layout line. This will get it into your sidebar. Also, you can add a center alignment to your beginning div tag and it will center it in your sidebar, otherwise, it automatically aligns left.

Hope this helps!"

Thanks. Try to apply this CSS code:

HTML Code:
.widget_ecwid_minicart {

Default I'm not sure where to place this snippet?

Can you tell me the specific file that I should install the snippet and does it matter where within the file that I install it?

Thanks, Don

Default Shopping bag not centered in sidebar

I'm having the same problem with my store at www.frenchkitchenantiques.com. I added the code you mentioned at the bottom of my custom CSS sheet, but no luck.

Am I doing anything wrong?

Thanks for you help,

Peter

The CSS rule, provided in the post above, aligns the text displayed on the Minicart icon, and, as far as I can see, the text on your Minicart is centered.

If you would like to have the minicart icon displayed in the middle of the beige square area, please add the following CSS rule via your Ecwid control panel -> ‘System settings’ tab -> Design -> CSS themes (please add to the bottom of the theme):

Quote:
#Minicart-1 {
text-align: center;
}
Click "Save (Ctrl+S)".

As a result the Minicart icon will be placed in the middle of the beige area.
