Subscription and email redirect

How can we help you?

https://elementhospitalitygroupinc.com/?lang=en

currently mt store is turned off so I can edit content while my site is live.

I have 2 companies
One is a meal delivery a la cart service and we delivery locally. I have figured all that out. The second part I have not.

We also sell a subscription plan. I have set up products and direct embedded them so that a client can select servings for 2, 3, or 4 people qty 2,3,4 meals per person

When they complete that order I would like to send them an email with a link to a page in my site where they can chose the products they want to have delivered.

Ideally I would rather them just be able to do it all in ECWID but I have not found a way to do so.

So customer can order single items and pay a delivery fee of 15$ or they can set up a weekly subscription that would

1) charge a recurring fee every week (using square invoices to do this)
once the plan is purchased client gets to pick which items they want

How can I do this?

Well, this can be done in the Ecwid store itself, with the help of the Product options and Product Variation. You can add these parameters (like number of meals etc) as the product options/variations. For more details please, refer to these articles:

Please note, that in this case the whole process of placing the order and payment will be occurring in your Ecwid store added to your website https://elementhospitalitygroupinc.com/?lang=en

But could you specify, where the order completion process should happen. Usually, customers select and buy products in your Ecwid store itself.

I assume, that you want to allow your to customers to place the orders on some other website, without Ecwid store. Then upon completing the order, customer must receive the link, that will lead them to your Ecwid store, where they can select the products? In that case, you can just provide your customers who place the orders on another website with the links to the website where the Ecwid store is located.

You are absolutely right. This is the most convenient option. Customer comes to your store, selects the products, pays. That's it.

As for the the recurring payments. There are several payment gateways integrated with Ecwid, that support recurring payments.

1. Stripe payment method can let you securely save the customers' payment details, so you can initiate a charge after the order's been placed. The details are provided here:
2. You can use PayPal subscriptions button: https://www.paypal.com/pdn-recurring In this case your Ecwid store will work as a simple products catalog and all recurring billing will be fully processed on the PayPal's side. You will be able to check all your new subscriptions and the payments for existing ones in your PayPal merchant account.

If this option doesn't suit you, then it is possible to develop a custom integration with any payment processor of your choice that supports subscriptions. Such custom application will be based on Ecwid API. However, I must admit, that implementing such solutions requires some programming skills, therefore you may consider hiring such a specialist. Otherwise, you can count on the services of our customization team, who performs such tasks on a paid basis. You can contact them by filling in the form here, or if it is more convenient to you, then I can forward your request to them.

That's it. I hope, that the information provided in this post will be helpful to you. In case of any issues, please do not hesitate to contact me.
