I have enjoyed exploring ecwid...

We would like to display / print on invoice the total weight being handled per order as we are adding Shipping / Handling cost based on weight being sold.

Customers should know what they are paying and how much...

I have been looking around in the posts and could not find relevant info.

Please help or point me to relevant posts.

Sure, you can do that by editing the invoice. Let me tell you how to go about that.

— Log in to your Control Panel

— Click on "Settings"

— Click on "Invoice"

— Click on the button "Edit template"

— In the body of your invoice, find the line #408. Here it is: http://take.ms/QRSd9

— Insert this code after the line #408:

       <!-- Order weight -->
<td align="left" valign="top" style="font-family: Arial,sans-serif;font-size: 11px;color: #333333;">
  <b>Order weight:</b> ${order.weight}
 </td>

— It's supposed to look like that: http://take.ms/YvHKV

— Save the changes

That is it, you will have a total weight of the order in the invoice from now on.

you to customize your invoice or packing slip templates in any way you want using our Drag & Drop interface.

You can also display the total weight using Printout Designer.
