Hide Bulk Discounts

Can anybody tell me how to alter the CSS for the new bulk discounts in a few ways:
1: hide the text under the bulk discounts list stating the save % amount when you bulk order.
2: hide the bulk prices list (most important at the moment for me)
3: show all the bulk price options without having to click to expand the list, by default only two options show until you click to expand.

Thanks

Jamie

In order to hide this text you should add following code in your CSS theme:
Code:
div.ecwid-productBrowser-details-wholesale-saving {
    display: none;
}

Could you show me on screenshot what price do you want to hide?

In order to show full bulk price list by default, you should add following code on the page, where Ecwid is installed:
Code:
Ecwid.OnPageLoaded.add(function(page){
    if (page.type == "PRODUCT") {
        $("div.ecwid-productBrowser-details-wholesale").click();
    }
})

Default Bulk prices to hide

Hi,
Thanks for the feedback so far, a great help.
I would like to hide all prices until the user gets to the cart.
I have code which hides it from the product browser but unfortunately that also hides it from the cart.
Ideally if this can be done at category level that would be best.
I have attached a screenshot of what I refer to (note: I have already turned off the % discount from your instructions!)
Regards
Jamie

Hi Maya
I think I have it sorted now, I added:
div.ecwid-productBrowser-details-wholesale {
display: none;
}
.ecwid-productBrowser-ProductPage .ecwid-productBrowser-price {
display: none;
}
div.ecwid-productBrowser-details-wholesale-saving {
display: none;
}

Seems ok to me - any issues you can spot?

Would it be possible to control this sort of functionality at category level rather than shop wide?
What do I add to do that?

This code is correct and it hides bulk price for the whole store.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to control this behavior on the categories level. In order to hide bulk price for the separate product you should use following code in your CSS theme:
Code:
div.ecwid-productBrowser-ProductPage-XXXX div.ecwid-productBrowser-details-wholesale {
    display: none;
}
div.ecwid-productBrowser-ProductPage-XXXX .ecwid-productBrowser-price {
  display: none;
}
div.ecwid-productBrowser-ProductPage-XXXX div.ecwid-productBrowser-details-wholesale-saving {
    display: none;
}
where XXXX should be changed to the real ID of the product.

Hi Maya,

Thanks a million for the info, can I ask one point of clarification?
Is it possible to hide something (prices in this example) for the whole store but then show it again for specific products?

I imagine not but worth asking!

Thanks

Jamie

Yes, sure. It is possible for some elements in Ecwid.

For example, in order to hide price for the whole store you should add following CSS code in your theme:
Code:
div.ecwid-productBrowser-price {
 display: none;
}
In order to show the price on product detailed page you should use following code:
Code:
div.ecwid-productBrowser-ProductPage-XXXX .ecwid-productBrowser-price {
  display: block;
}
where XXXX should be changed to the real ID of the product.

Can you tell me what tags this should be enclosed in when placing it on my website. Thanks.

EDIT: I see other instructions here http://www.ecwid.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13872 but I still can't get it working

That's a script, so it should be inside <script></script>. it uses $ function, which is the uber-popular jQuery, so you should have jQuery library already included into the page. That script relies on the Ecwid functions, so it should be placed after the Ecwid codes on the page. If you're still having trouble integrating it, please, let me know the URL address of the page where you do that.

I bet I am loading this code too soon then... I have posted a URL from my website showing a couple issues including this one on another thread. So that this question is not answered multiple times, I won't post a URL here. Please have a look at http://www.ecwid.com/forums/showthre...3590#post63590
