To change the text 'Out of Stock'

Is it possible to change the text that shows as 'Out of Stock' to something like,
'Out of Stock, please click for other sizes'?

Hello!

In order to change texts in Ecwid you should use custom translation tool. Just add the following script into the source code of the page, where your Ecwid store is installed:

Code:
<script>
ecwidMessages = {
"ProductDetails.out_of_stock":"Out of stock, please, click for other sizes"
}
</script>
"Out of stock, please, click for other sizes" may be substituted with the desired text.

Hope this is what you want. If you have anymore questions, feel free to ask any time - we are always glad to help you!

Hi, I'm pasting individual buttons into my website, should I make the changes through the design custom CSS themes?

Hello!

In order to change the text you should add the translation script to the source code of the page where you have Ecwid. This code is JavaScript (not CSS) it runs during the website loading. If you put a script to your store CSS theme, it will not have any effect, because in CSS theme you can add only CSS rules. All scripts should be added to the source code of the website page where Ecwid is embedded.

As far as I can see, you use our Single product widget. In this case, you should insert the translation script to the source code of every page where you added the widget.

If you need any help with this, please, let me know. Thank you!
