Question

eGoods: link to a common file for different SKUs?

I have several SKUs that all share a common eGood product file, but ALSO have a few eGood files unique to them. Is it possible to link 2 or more SKUS to the common eGood file, (by doing only 1-upload and manually linking multiple SKUs to that file) while still retaining the ability to upload their own unique eGood files? Reason for this request being primarily to avoid multiple uploads of the common file.

Currently, Ecwid allows to attach many different files to each product separately. Unfortunately, if you want to use the same file for several products you will need to upload it separately for each of them.

The ability to keep all uploaded files in such way that customers will be able to use them more than once would be really useful for our customer. Please, post this idea in our ideas bank here. We will email you when it will be added to Ecwid.
