Can I Add an HTML Tag to my Free Ecwid Website?

I would like to claim my website for my Pinterest account. They require either to add an html tag to the <head> section of your site’s index.html file or Upload HTML file they generate for you. Is there a way to do it? Thanks!

Hi there,

I'm Edward from Ecwid Team.

Thank you for the post!

Adding an HTML tag to the <head> section of your website requires having access to the source code the page.

As I can see, you use an Ecwid Starter site, a free one-page site with your store. At the moment, there's no out-of-the-box feature that allows editing the source code of the Starter site in the Ecwid control panel directly.

However, there's an inner tool using which our support team can add an HTML tag to the <head> section of the Starter site. This change can only be applied for accounts on the Ecwid paid plans.

Thus if you are a premium user and want to add an HTML tag to your Starter site, please contact our support team via a form at https://support.ecwid.com/hc/en-us/requests/new or the "Chat with Us" section in your Ecwid control panel.

I hope this information will be helpful!

If you have any questions — feel free to ask.
