Hi,
I have a problem with the shopping bag. In IE8 the shopping bag does not render correctly, also the grids in the cart do not align properly (in the category view). Can yoou pleas help figure this out?

the attached files:

ieEcwid.jpg > shows the problem on IE

chromeEcwid.jpg > shows how it looks on chrome and all other browsers (works fine)

Thanks in advance

it works ok in IE9. Thank God.

SO I guess this is something about IE8

Ecwid is designed and tested to work in all modern browsers widely used. It works in IE8 fine to, there is a whole set of refinements for IE family of browsers in Ecwid.

What you describe is rather a side of effect of your site layout in general, not something caused by or connected to Ecwid. Notice how this page: http://www.montrealfashionbizvie.com...ashionforfree/ looks squished in IE8 too, although it doesn't contain Ecwid. So, you should consult the web designer who authored the template of your site to get it properly laid out for IE8 too.

Eugene-

I was hoping you could help shed some light on this store page. The rest of the site looks as the site owner wants, but when you visit the store page on any browser except IE, it is fine. Once IE is used, the store and its formatting becomes very difficult to navigate and looks very web1.0. Can you help me figure out how to tackle this?

Please, refer to this thread: http://www.ecwid.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10472 In short: there is more CSS stylesheets in the page than IE8 could chew. You need to reduce the number of the stylesheets you use (Ecwid brings in just one).
