MOBILE APP - "My E-Shop" (iOS) notifications poor compared to ecwid branded app


MOBILE APP - "My E-Shop" - (on iOS) ... fails to properly alert its Reseller client users - especially compared to the ecwid branded app. They are meant to be the same, apart from branding, to support resellers. BUT the app is notably less developed or supported and is causing issues for clients. So they need to move to the ecwid branded version ....

The ecwid app (iOS) had good notifications, including order summary details, and the image of the first order ... which also then appears on the Apple Watch. The app shows the number of notifications on the iPhone/iPad home screen in red circles. The "My E-Shop" app - does not.

The issue with notifications for the white label app has already been reported to our developers, they are working on it. As soon as we release the update, we will let you know, please stay tuned!

Thanks Alexandra. This is a significant issue affecting the ability to spot incoming orders.

Please can you give a timescale for the fix?

Hi Daniel!

Emma here,

Our mobile team has this task on their list and is working to improve the notifications in the 'My e-Shop' app. At the moment, we can't provide the exact ETA for the release, sorry. But we will make sure to update you via email as soon as it's done. And we will also post the update to this Forum thread.
