Hello,

I'm in the process of uploading several thousand items that are downloadable via a bulk upload. I'd like to have the "This product requires shipping" box unticked for all items. I've looked at all the documentation on shipping / uploading, etc. but can't seem to find out how to make sure this box is left unticked.

Can anyone tell me how I can accomplish this so that I don't have to edit each item individually?

Is there any way outside of Facebook & Twitter to reach Ecwid support directly? I've tried Twitter without success. Does anyone from Ecwid monitor this forum on a regular basis?

Hi,

Our apologies for keeping you waiting. We do monitor this forum and answer Ecwid users here.

You can bulk upload products using Ecwid import feature. You need to prepare a CSV file to upload at Ecwid control panel at Catalog>Products page. Your file should contain column 'Weight', yet empty. It will keep "This product requires shipping" setting disabled after you upload the file.

Thanks for your reply. I tried removing the "Weight" column prior to posting the message looking for assistance. Unfortunately, that didn't solve the problem. Have you any thoughts on why this isn't working?

Hi,

I apologize, that's my bad! I gave you a bit incorrect directions. CSV file needs to have 'Weight' column, but it needs to be empty. Ecwid will 'understand' that the product doesn't require shipping in this case.
