I keep getting enter a valid store ID when trying to use the app on 1and1 myweb plus


right now I inserted the store using the code, but I cannot find a way to get my products to show 4 items per row.

I'm very sorry that you are experiencing problems with adding your Ecwid store to the 1and1 platform. For some reason, their system is not able to validate some Ecwid store IDs. We have already reported this issue to 1and1 team and now are waiting for their reply. We haven't heard from them yet. Once there is any news — we will definitely let you know!

As there is no ETA on a fix, I would suggest that you consider using Ecwid Starter Site or add your store to any other platform. Below you can find more detailed articles about both options:

In general, product grid automatically adapts to the size of the area the store is added to. So, you can see here that container size where your Ecwid store is inserted just can't list more than 3 products per row: http://take.ms/SKRPY (screenshot). I highlighted the store container size with the help of the Inspector tool in my Chrome browser.

You can make the container wider: in this case, you will see more Ecwid categories/products per row. You can do it in your 1&1 website editor area.

As an alternative, you can make the thumbnails sizes smaller to show more products per row. Here is how you can do it:

1. Go to Ecwid control panel > Design page
2. Change 'Image size' to 'Small': http://take.ms/cQNlQ

This way, you will list more items per row on your storefront.
