Trouble changing email addresses


I'm in the process of switching email hosts. I have changed the email for my company on the General/Store Profile page, but i can't change the email on the My Profile/Your Email box. When I enter the same (new) email address as I put in the store profile and click Save I get a red message

"This email is occupied by somebody else"

and the change isn't made.

What am I missing?

If your email address has not changed itself (e.g. it was "abc@example.com" and still is "abc@example.com") - you don't need to change that in Ecwid. If it is not the case, please, let us know the exact details (what new address you are trying to use) by email to login-issues@ecwid.com
